Biltmore Village – A quaint shopping experience with top quality merchandise at realistic prices and wonderful customer service.

The Biltmore House - Experience the grandeur of America's largest house. Don’t miss the gardens.  They are spectacular too!

Blue Ridge Parkway- The views are breathtaking.  Every season has its own unique beauty.  The entrance is about 15 minutes from our doorstep. Remember to take your binoculars!

Deep Creek/Smoky Mountain National Park-This is one of our favorite outings!  Pack a picnic lunch, hike the trails and enjoy tubing down the river.  It’s a fun and inexpensive day for the entire family.

Dining – Many of the restaurants in Waynesville and MaggieValley do not have web sites.  For your convenience, a variety of menus have been placed in our Guest Guide.  Bon appetite!

Downtown Waynesville- Stroll the charming streets, stop for a bite to eat, browse in the delightful shops.  The downtown section is a quick and easy 10 minute drive.

Cataloochee Ski Area – For winter enthusiasts, skiing and snowboarding activities abound.  Snow tubing is also available in MaggieValley.

Golf- A golfer’s paradise! There are 5 enjoyable courses within 30 minutes.  (In our home, we have a golfer and a golf widow.  Each is supremely happy with our mountain experiences!)

Great Smoky Mountain Railroad - Enjoy year-round scenic train journeys across fertile valleys, through tunnels and across river gorges.  Brochures are available in our entertainment binder.

Hiking – A trail book is located in our Guest Guide offering tips on scenic trails in close proximity.

Nantahala whitewater rafting – Great fun and adventure for the family!  Brochures are included in our entertainment binder.

Waynesville Recreation Center - This facility is 64,000 square feet and has a water play park, lap pool, 1/10 mile rubber walking track, two basketball courts, tennis courts, weight room, aerobics room, cardio area and much more.

Whitewater Falls – This spectacular waterfall and hiking trail is well worth the drive (about 90 min.).  While in the vicinity, check out some of the other waterfalls too!

WNC Nature Center - The NatureCenter is a living museum exhibiting plants and animals that are native to the Southern Appalachians.
