1.  How can I get more information?

For additional information, to inquire about availability, and/or to make your reservation, please send an email to smarcink@aol.com.

2.  What process is used to make a reservation?

If you would like to make a reservation, please send us an e-mail letting us know the dates you would like to arrive and depart.  We will forward this information to our property manager (a local real estate company).  They will contact you promptly to make arrangements.

Security Deposit:You will be asked to provide a $300.00 refundable security deposit. 

All rentals less than 90 days are subject to the North Carolina sales tax at 7% and the Haywood County occupancy tax at 3%

3.  What is the check- in and check out process? 

Check in time: 4PM; Check-out time: 10AM
Flexibility possible if house is not booked on day of arrival/departure
Guests may check-in/out directly at Red Maple Ridge. No visit to property management office is needed.


4.  What can I expect in terms of communication options?

Instructions for wireless, high-speed internet access are located at the kitchen desk. Our telephones are set up for local calls only. If you want to make long distance phone calls, please bring a calling card with you.  Please do not make toll calls from any of the telephones unless you call collect or charge them to your own accounts. Note that it is possible to dial a toll call without dialing a “1” first.  This can cause inadvertent fees. If there is a question, consult the telephone book or call the operator.

5.  Would you consider a very well trained pet?

Unfortunately, we have family members and some guests with severe asthma and allergies.  Even a brief exposure to a pet friendly environment triggers severe medical conditions.  For their health and well being, we do not allow pets of any kind.
